Some essential oils will feel hot or cold when applied to the skin. Be sure to test for sensitivity before applying to the skin. Please read the rest of these PRECAUTIONS and HOW TO SKIN TEST before you use this product for the first time.
DO NOT COMBINE THIS PRODUCT WITH OTHER TRANSDERMAL THERAPY or ESSENTIAL OILS.
DO NOT APPLY THIS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL OILS TO DEEP PUNCTURE WOUNDS.
Although some essential oils are safe for consumption, Raphael's Light is NOT FOR INTERNAL USE. The benefits of using this and other essential oil products are most significant when absorbed transdermally (through the skin.)
KEEP PRODUCT CLOSED TIGHTLY AND OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN. Essential oils are just as effective for children as they are for adults, however a child's skin may be more sensitive than an adult. Always perform a SKIN TEST and if necessary, dilute the product with pure vegetable oil or massage oil prior to use on children. Never use on a child younger than 30 months old.
AVOID DIRECT EXPOSURE TO SUNLIGHT. Although used in small quantities, some essential oils are photosensitive and may cause skin rash or pigmentation changes when worn in direct sunlight.
DO NOT APPLY in or near mucous membranes – eyes, ears, nose, mouth, etc. When reduced, it is safe to use essential oils near or around the ear, but not in the ear.
If burning occurs in the eyes or on the skin DO NOT FLUSH WITH WATER. Water drives the oils deeper into skin tissue. Dilute the area with vegetable oil such as Canola, Corn, or Olive Oil.
If you wear contact lenses, special care should be taken with this product. Although used in small quantities, some of the essential oils have a high phenol content and may cause sticking problems or may damage the surface of the lenses during direct contact. Always wash your hands thoroughly after use of this product or before handling contact lenses and other optical plastics. It may be safest to remove contact lenses prior to handling or using this product.
PREGNANCY: Consult your health care practitioner before using this and other essential oils if you are pregnant or attempting to become pregnant.
ALLERGIC REACTIONS: If redness, burning, itching or irritation occurs, stop using immediately. SKIN TEST this and all essential oils for sensitivity before use. Many people who are sensitive or allergic to synthetic fragrances WILL NOT be sensitive to pure essential oils. If you have skin allergies, DO NOT add essential oils to your bath water without performing a SKIN TEST first.
Although reduced with a carrier oil, some of the essential oils in this product have a HIGH PHENOL content and should be stored only in a glass or approved container.
To retain maximum effectiveness this product should be stored in a cool, dark area, away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.
NOT FOR USE ON ANIMALS. Some Essential Oils are TOXIC TO CATS and other small animals. |

Raindrop therapy was developed after research indicated, that various forms of spinal misalignment arise from muscle spasms and inflammation caused by bacteria and viruses. The "raindrop technique" combines aromatherapy with light acupressure, reflexology or massage techniques that support the structural alignment and realignment of the whole body. Once the body is properly aligned, it functions more efficiently and effectively.
Guidelines for Raindrop Therapy
Hold the bottle approximately six inches above the skin and let 5-8 drops dispense from the bottle evenly spaced along the spine from bottom to top (sacrum to atlas or 1st cervical.) When applying the oil, you don't need large drops. After a few minutes, gently spread the oil evenly along the curvature of the spine. Use a soft sweeping motion with the fingertips. After another few minutes have passed, apply 8 to 12 drops of a massage or mixing oil. |

Many professional chiropractors find that alternative products for pain relief are little more than a spicy cream or lotion that provides NO therapeutic benefit to the patient.
Raphael’s Light™ is among the few commercially available products that is becoming widely accepted by Chiropractors and Massage Therapists. As an adjunct therapy, Raphael’s Light™ is beginning to receive endorsements from practitioners who are recommending it to patients suffering from injury, trauma or conditions that cause chronic pain and discomfort. If you’re a chiropractor or massage therapist, we encourage you to investigate the potential of Raphael’s Light™ for your patients. Contact us for product information or distribution opportunities. |

As used here, the word MASSAGE indicates light touch, not a deep tissue massage. Obtaining the therapeutic value of a plant essence is the desired effect, and only a light touch is required when applying this product. Unless you are a licensed massage therapist, DO NOT attempt to utilize this product with a deep tissue massage. If you desire to combine this product with a therapeutic massage, consult a professional massage therapist.
Before you start Always perform a SKIN TEST before using this and other pure essential oils. Each person's body is different, so apply the product to a small area first.
How To Apply Dispense 1-4 drops of the liquid on your finger tips, or dispense directly on the area where relief is desired. Gently massage the affected or surrounding area in a circular motion. Once applied, allow the product to be absorbed by the skin for approximately 10-15 minutes. The longer an essential oil stays in contact with the skin, the more likely it is to be absorbed and deliver the desired relief. For best results, avoid rinsing or combing this with other products.
For more severe or chronic discomfort, it's sometimes necessary to repeat the application after approximately 30 minutes or more. This will help guarantee sustained relief.
Transdermal Absorption Because essential oils are soluble with the lipid membranes of cell walls, they have the ability to penetrate cells and dispense therapeutic properties throughout the body in as little as twenty minutes. Consider that nicotine and hormone patches react similarly during transdermal absorption. |
